THE LOSS OF INNOCENCE
This is not your typical Amish story. A young Amish girl is kidnapped from her home and finds herself in a Chicago hospital with no memory of who she is or where she comes from. The only thing she remembers is her love of Jesus. During her stay at the hospital her memory begins to return slowly, at the same time the heart of a non believing doctor begins to soften towards Jesus and ultimately gives her life to the Lord. Meanwhile back in the Amish community there is a family desperately looking for their lost daughter and one church leader desperate to keep her lost. We find that all outward appearances are not necessarily what they seem. Through the work of a Chicago police officer and the local Chief of police in Millersburg the identity of a serial killer if uncovered and one of FBI’s most wanted is taking off the streets.

GRANDMA'S KITCHEN
This cookbook is dedicated to all the great women past and present that have contributed recipes to this project. I have been blessed with the gift of kitchen heritage from my husband’s Grandmother who was known as Auntie to everyone but me. To me she was Grandma. She entrusted me with one of her most valued possessions, her wonderful box of recipes. This box included recipes that not only she had created, but recipes she received from friends and loved ones as well. There are many generations represented in this collection of classics such as chocolate cake from scratch using real butter and shortening, to the more modern Crockpot creations. There are even recipes that she clipped out of various local newspapers and national magazines. Throughout the book you will see credit where it was possible. Unfortunately many of the recipes were added to the box with no name. To those recipes we will mark them just as friends of Grandma Lonnie. I hope you enjoy these recipes as much as she and I have. May your home be filled with love and your kitchen be filled with laughter.
